Kata Combat—Take Your Battles On The Road!

By now you've probably downloaded the Kaijudo: Battle Game app—and if you haven't, you can check it out here—but there's more Kaijudo mobile action on its way with the Kata Combat mobile game
So what's a kata? If you've seen the Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters TV show, you've seen tons of them already! A kata is a martial-arts style move that is used by Duel Masters during a creature summoning. It may be a jump-kick followed by a punch, or it may look like you're tracing a mystical symbol in the air with your hands. Mix in the name of the creature, and a healthy dose of mana, and you've got a creature on your side!
For the Kata Combat game, we wanted to let players practice one of the most common tasks assigned to an acolyte: finding a rogue creature that has torn through the Veil and sending it back to its home realm. You trace katas on your mobile device screen, summoning creatures to help you battle. The game has tons of levels, and the more creatures you defeat, the more creatures you can unlock for future Kata Combat games!
You'll also find the "Add a Kata" option in the game. Some katas will be available in the real world, and if you find one (at stores, on kaijudo.com, or in advertising materials, for example) you can go to the Kaijudo: Dojo app and duplicate the featured kata correctly on your device tol unlock a new digital creature for your Kata Combat games!
