By Drew Nolosco Drew Nolosco Strategies and Tips Super Rare Spotlight: Flamespike Tatsurion January 09, 2013

Evo Fury is out in the wild, providing duelists everywhere with powerful new cards for their collection. From commons to super rares, huge creatures and titanic spells abound. In this five-part series, we’re shining the spotlight on the rarest creatures in the set. This week, meet:

The most powerful battling creature we’ve made so far!

Flamespike Tatsurion

Tatsurion comes in two evolved forms in Evo-Fury! His Fire form shows off the wrath of his dragon side, but his Nature form evolves from beast kin— and is even large enough to actually take down Evo-Fury Tatsurion in combat. In fact, at 14,000 power when fighting creatures, Flamespike Tatsurion is the largest creature we’ve printed so far!

While evolving onto an Armored Dragon is tricky because a lot of armored dragons are at a higher level, evolving onto a beast kin is relatively easy. With Nature ramping cards like Bronze-Arm Tribe, you can even end up with the perfect setup: Bronze-Arm tribe giving you the extra mana and the beast kin body you need to play Flamespike Tatsurion!

Will you be the first of your friends to locate this super-rare creature in a booster pack?
