Black Feather hails from Shadow Abyss, a remote, difficult to find rift in the Darkness civilization. Creatures with bodies have a tough time crawling through the tight passages and narrow chasms that lead to Shadow Abyss... but Black Feather is a specter. Like most specters, Black feather can fly and has the ability to pass through solid objects, so the difficult route to and from his home territory is an easy journey for him and his kind.

Master Jaha often summons Black Feather when she duels. The specter has a Ghostly Siphon ability that drains the mana of any creature or duelist the creature touches. Black Feather can also conjure a field of darkness to blind its foes and disrupt communication between an opposing creature and its duelist. In combat, Black Feather's ability to pass through solid walls, doors, and even enemies, makes it difficult to hit.
