With the elegant, colorful head of a tropical fish and the tentacled body of a squid, Rusalka can move in any form of water: liquid, gas, or solid. This capability makes the trench hunter nearly impossible to hit in battle. Rusalka has powerful telepathic and psychic attacks, which it uses to render an opponent "dumbstruck" before coiling its tentacles around the foe's body to subdue it. Once Rusalka has paralyzed a creature, it takes a significant amount of mana to get that creature back into fighting shape!

Rusalka is just as useful outside of combat as it is when dueling! It has the unique ability to send psychic messages across the Veil. When Rusalka notices something is wrong in the Water civilization, it alerts Nadia to the problem, ensuring that the Masters come take a look. It also has the ability to slide into practically any location. Because of its ability to change states of water, it can move through cracks and infiltrate even the most well-protected locations!
